The ideal candidate will have some woodworking skills as well as a strong aptitude for computers. This is an entry level position and training will be provided. The position involves creating shape files in Auto Cad for our CNC router, transferring files to the router, and in some cases operating the router. The Simkins-Hallin Top Shop is a fast paced, high volume production environment that produces custom countertops in laminate and solid surface materials. Any computer design skills are a plus, extra emphasis will be given to applicants with basic Auto Cad and/or drafting skills.
